Photo 45: June 21, 1995. Heath Lumber Co., North Olden Avenue, Ewing Township. Engine 22-3’s crew (Firefighters Chris Longo, Martin Burch, Michael Ratcliffe and Tim Kasony Jr.) works a 2.5-inch hoseline during a general-alarm fire at the lumber yard. The fire was reported about 1:51 a.m.

Lawrence Road’s Engine 22-3 was called into the city to help Trenton firefighters.

Photo 49: January 17, 1997. 2797 Princeton Pike, Lawrence Township. Capt. James Pidcock works on the third floor of a home that was severely damaged by a two-alarm fire.

Photo 50: May 14, 1997. National Guard Armory, Eggerts Crossing Road. Lawrence Township. Lawrence Road firefighters help EMS personnel wheel an injured woman to a waiting medical helicopter. The woman was seriously injured when she was hit by a station wagon while she was jogging along Lawrence Road. She was flown by the chopper to a trauma hospital in Camden.

Photo 52: June 26, 1997. A stubborn junkyard yard in East Amwell Township, Hunterdon County, prompted a response from scores of firefighters, including members of Lawrence Road Fire Co. In this photo, Ff. Kelly Kasony uses a deluge gun to hose down a pile of smoldering tires and other rubbish.

Photo 53: August 16, 1997. Rider University, Lawrence Township. Lawrence Road Capt. Wayne Hannon stands by while Trenton firefighters suit up in protective clothing during a hazardous materials incident in the university’s science building.

Photo 54: October 9, 1997. 8 Fox Run, Hopewell Township. Lawrence Road Firefighters Edward Kitchen and Michael Byrd receive ordered from Hopewell Fire Company’s deputy chief on the second floor of this home, which was heavily gutted by a fire that started accidentally when a box of tissues was placed on top of a halogen lamp.
