FIREWORKS STAND-BY ASSIGNMENT

Rider University,
2083 Lawrence Road, Lawrence Township



During the evening of Monday, July 3, 2006, Lawrence Road Fire Co. members stood by on the campus of Rider University at 2083 Lawrence Road to provide fire protection and rescue services during Lawrence Township’s annual fireworks display.

The special assignment ran from about 6 p.m. until 11:30 p.m.

Deputy Chief Chris Pangaldi manned Car 22-1, Assistant Chief Shaun Dlabik manned Car 22, and Utility 22 was manned by Ff. Ryan Dlabik.
Rescue 22 was commanded by Capt. Michael Byrd, driven by Ff. Joseph Dlabik Jr., and crewed by Ff. Joseph Dlabik Sr., Ff. Adam Rivera, Ff. Evan Kutzin, and Ff. R.J. Laird.

Telesquirt 22 was commanded by Ff. Charles Commini Jr., driven by Ff. Brian Laue, and crewed by Ff. Steven Hodgdon, Ff. Jarred Pierson, Ff. Theresa Androvett, and Junior Ff. Peter Proctor.

Also taking part in the stand by were Slackwood’s Engine 21, Lawrenceville’s Telesquirt 23, Brush 23 and Utility 23, and Engine 30 from Falls Township Fire Co. of Bucks County, Pa.

Falls Engine 30 was on hand to help respond to any emergencies that occurred during the fireworks celebration, either on campus or elsewhere in Lawrence Township.

Fortunately, no alarms were received.
