STAND-BY ASSIGNMENT

Princeton Junction Fire Co. (Station 44),
245 Clarksville Road, West Windsor Township



On the evening of Monday, July 10, 2006, a crew of Lawrence Road Fire Co. volunteers stood by with Engine 22 at the Princeton Junction Fire Co. firehouse in West Windsor Township while members of Station 44 attending the viewing of West Windsor Police Lt. Keith Hillman.

Hillman, a 20-year veteran of the police department beloved by his fellow officers, died at the age of 40 on July 5, 2006, following a brief battle with leukemia. He left behind a wife and three young children.

Engine 22 was commanded by Assistant Chief Shaun Dlabik, driven by Ff. Matt Farletta, and crewed by Capt. Michael Byrd and Ff. Joseph Dlabik.

No emergency assignments were received during the standby.

Lt. Hillman was laid to rest with full honors on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at St. David the King Catholic Church in West Windsor.

The officers and members of Lawrence Road Fire Co. wish to extend our condolences to the Hillman family and to the men and women of the West Windsor Police Department.
